Which Etihad Airways number to call

Etihad lists one contact number per country. Most of them are open around the clock.

At home, you'd just dial your own country's line. This page is for when you're somewhere else. Say you live in London, booked on the UK site, and your flight out of Bangkok has been cancelled. The UK line is the one that knows your booking, and you want to reach it without paying roaming rates while you sit on hold.

The Abu Dhabi line from abroad

Inside the UAE, Etihad's number is 600 555666. From anywhere else, Etihad gives it as +971 600 555 666, open 24 hours a day. This is the line to use if you booked on the UAE site, or if your home country isn't in the list above.

It is also the most expensive line on this page to reach, at $0.19 / min from 002call. A 20-minute call comes to $3.80.

US and Canada numbers

The two North American lines work differently:

• United States: +1 914 303 8393 is an ordinary US number, not toll-free. Any phone in the world can dial it, and through 002call it's $0.02 a minute.
• Canada: +1 866 948 1081 is a toll-free number. It's free inside Canada, but a carrier abroad may refuse to connect it or charge for it. Through 002call it goes through as an ordinary call at $0.02 / min.

Pakistan hours

The Pakistan line is the only one on the list with split hours. Etihad's page shows them in local time: English and Arabic 24/7, and Urdu from 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. If you want to speak Urdu, call on a weekday during Pakistan office hours.

When you don't need to call

Etihad's help page marks two options as "Recommended" above the phone lines:

• Online chat. An AI assistant on the help page answers first.
• WhatsApp. The help page's WhatsApp button opens a chat with +971 56 688 9003. Use this number only, since it's the one Etihad links to from its own site.

If you've booked a First Deluxe ticket, the help page says Etihad Concierge is available 24/7 through its own "Send a message" link.

Before you call

Have these ready so the agent can pull up your booking quickly:

• Your booking reference and the lead passenger's last name
• Your e-ticket number, from the confirmation email
• Your Etihad Guest number, if you have one
• The flight you want instead, with date and route
• A phone number or email where Etihad can reach you on the trip

Note the agent's name and any case reference. If the call drops, you won't have to explain everything twice.

Etihad lists one number per country and doesn't say which handles online bookings. Start with the line for the country whose site you booked on. If your country isn't listed here, use the Abu Dhabi line.

Are the lines open at night?

The UAE, UK, US, Australia and Canada lines all show "24 hours, daily" on Etihad's contact page. In Pakistan, English and Arabic support is 24/7, and Urdu is weekdays only.

Can I call from my mobile?
